This brand focuses a lot on creating items relating back to the 70s and 80s era of funk. I was commissioned with the task of creating the Dolo box playing cards game which is an homage to UNO but with a twist. I took this job because of the brands mission , the goal was to have a buy a box give a box aspect so whenever someone bought a box the company would send one to Joliet correctional facility to people who were incarcerated.

The lava lamp shirt was commissioned for one of the brands pop ups that was hosted in Chicago in Bronzeville area. The Inspiration I pulled from was funk, groovy, and night clubs. I envisioned one of those clubs where the dancers would be in the glass cases dancing in front of the crowd while also thinking about how popular the lava lamps were.
